Peach Brizzlet Cocktail

We used Leopold Brothers Colorado Whiskey in lieu of a traditional bourbon and found the results pretty delicious – the sweetness of Western Slope Peaches mixed with a splash of lemon makes this a supremely enjoyable beverage.

Makes one cocktail

INGREDIENTS:

  • Peach Syrup from Farmhand Organics Simply Peaches
  • 1 part fresh-squeezed Lemon Juice (one lemon should suffice, but you might want a second for backup)
  • 6 Parts Peach Sryup
  • 1 part Bourbon or Smooth Whiskey (we used Colorado’s own Leopold Brothers)
  • 1/4t Lemon Zest or 1 strip lemon peel
  • One MM Local Peach Half, diced (optional)

HOW TO MAKE IT:

  • Squeeze juice from one lemon into a measuring cup
  • Add approximately 6 times your lemon juice quantity in peach syrup
  • Mix well
  • Add to cocktail Shaker and mix with whiskey to taste
  • Add diced peach (optional)
  • Serve over ice
