Happy Friday, friends! What better way to finish out this day than with a new craft cocktail. We introduce you to the Pear Spice Cocktail.


This recipe is drawn from Coco + Kelly. When we saw this cocktail, we knew our Organic Simply Pears would fit effortlessly in this concoction.


  • 1½ oz. gin
  • ¾ oz. rosemary + clove infused simple syrup
  • 1½ oz. pear puree
  • ½ oz. White Whale Filthy Liar (or a lychee syrup or liqueur)
  • ¾ oz. lemon juice
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 sprig rosemary, to garnish

Rosemary & Clove Simple Syrup:

  • ½ cup sugar
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 oz. whole cloves
  • 3 sprigs rosemary

Combine the sugar, water, cloves, and rosemary in a saucepan over low heat. When the mixture reaches a boil, remove from heat and let sit for 30 minutes. Strain into a jar and store in the refrigerator, or use right away. This will yield more than enough syrup for two drinks.

Pear Puree:

  • 1 pear, from our Organic Simply Pears
  • ½ oz. lemon juice
  • ½ tsp. fresh rosemary

Slice the pears and add to the lemon juice and rosemary in a blender. Blend until smooth, then strain mixture through a fine-mesh sieve and discard any solids. Pear juice can also be substituted here, but be sure to infuse with lemon juice and rosemary overnight.


Combine ingredients as listed above (minus the garnish) in a cocktail shaker over ice. Shake, and pour into a glass. If you’re feeling fancy, add a sprig of rosemary for garnish. Enjoy!
